The Truth is Irrelevant

Opening Blog for The Truth is Irrelevant.

I am not a huge fan of Blogging. Its kind of like most conversations you overhear on cellphones.
If I come across something or write something that has any meaning worth your reading or consideration, I will share it.

I guess the opener should develop the Title of this Blog. The statement that the truth is irrelevant is my modus operandi when it comes to our popular culture and the way we run our civilization here in the USA. There are a plethora of examples many of which I'm sure the reader can recall. All of them are laden with politics. The real victim is common sense. The typical citizen of the USA depends on common sense. They go to work, raise their families, pay their taxes because they have faith that it will work to their mutual benifit with all the other citizens. This is sort of the social contract we have all signed, sort of ...

The other slippery thing about truth is that it is subjective. To some the truth is absolute and they will kill you to keep it that way. My opinion that it is subjective is subjective. One gets stuck in the same trap DesCartes did with his famous: "Cogito, ergo sum". DesCartes had to rely on the divine to anchor the truth. Thats as good a place as any to anchor truth. Its a convention like A=A is in logic.

My blog is not about truth, with regards to truth I would describe myself as a sophist. Any truth that can be described with words is an abstraction. The closest one could get is to point at a sunset and grunt, UGH. Where the word UGH is simply the signal for the recipient to experience the truth directly.

I guess my future blogging will include a lot of pictures. My office has great window views and it moves at 550 MPH. I get to see things that are at times astonishing. I will also share music, movies and poetry.
